    Energy Upgrade California - Pasadena Water & Power is not a participant in this program, but you may still qualify for program funds through LA County or the Southern California Gas Company. 

    Water Efficiency Rebates and Programs

    From Pasadena Water & Power and Metropolitan Water District:

     SoCal WaterSmart's Turf Removal Program - Get $2 per square foot of water-thirsty turf that you replace with sustainable plants and water-permeable groundcover. Please remember that an application must be submitted and a pre-inspection must be completed BEFORE you kill or remove your grass turf. 

    From Pasadena Water & Power and SoCal Water$mart*:

    NEW! Rain Barrel Rebates (50 gallon min) $100 rebate

    NEW! Soil Moisture Sensor System - $250 or $50 per irrigation sensor for large residential sites 

    High Efficiency Toilets (1.28 gallons per flush or less) $100

    High Efficiency Clothes Washer  $300 (as of 3/1/2014) 

    Rotating Nozzles for Pop-up Spray Heads Retrofits $7/nozzle (as of 3/1/2014)

    Weather-Based Irrigation Controller $250, under 1 acre or $50 per station, 1 acre or more 

    *The SoCal Water$mart rebates listed above are special rates for PWP customers only, made possible by through The Metropolitan Water District's SoCal Water$mart Program and matching funds from PWP. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and may require a rebate reservation or other pre-requisites. Click through to learn more about rules specific to each product.
