The Pasadena Department of Public Works preserves, maintains, and enhances the City’s infrastructure and natural resources and provides environmental stewardship for the benefit of our residents, businesses, and visitors.
Effective July 1, 2013, the City is working with the Pasadena Humane Society to collect and process dog license applications and fees. Pasadena’s current annual dog licensing fees are $16.07 for dogs who are either spayed or neutered and nearly double, or $31.11, for dogs not fixed. Dog owners can bring their dog’s license application and rabies certificate directly to the Pasadena Humane Society & SPCA, 361 South Raymond Ave., Pasadena, CA 91105. The agency is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday. They are closed on Mondays. As an alternative, a new drop box will be available at City Hall’s Municipal Services Payment Office for easy payment drop-offs. NEW REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION (C&D) PROJECTS
Effective April 1, 2014, the Construction and Demolition Waste Management Ordinance (PMC Chapter 8.62) requires that certain construction and demolition projects divert at least 75% of waste either through recycling, salvage or deconstruction.The construction and demolition application must be approved prior to hauling any C&D debris.
