What multipurpose fields are available in the Arroyo Seco?

The Arroyo Seco Natural Park offers several multipurpose fields that can accommodate organized sports, group activities, and special events. Fields are booked by reservation through the Human Services & Recreation Department facilities reservation webpage or by calling (626) 744-7195. Fields are available for reservation between sunrise and sunset daily.

Area “H”

• This large lawn area is used regularly for organized soccer, football, group activities, and special events. It is located southeast of Rose Bowl Stadium near Seco Street.

Diamond 2 & 3

• Two lighted softball fields are located in Brookside Park in the Central Arroyo Seco. Each field has bleacher stands capable of accommodating 100 spectators and restroom facilities nearby.

Jackie Robinson Field

• Named for the Baseball Hall of Fame legend, Jackie Robinson Field features a lighted baseball diamond and bleachers with a maximum capacity of 1300 spectators. Restroom facilities are nearby. The field is located in Brookside Park in the Central Arroyo Seco.

Oak Grove Field

• This multipurpose field is used regularly for organized baseball, soccer, football, group activities and special events. It is bordered by coast live oak woodland, trails, historic Oak Grove Disc Golf Course, and scenic vistas.

Where are the multipurpose fields in the Arroyo Seco located?

Within the Arroyo Seco Natural Park, multipurpose fields are located in Brookside Park and Hahamongna Watershed Park.

Brookside Park is south of the Rose Bowl Stadium. The main entrance to Brookside Park is off Arroyo Blvd. Google Maps directions to Brookside Park main entrance.

Hahamongna Watershed Park is located at the base of Arroyo Seco Canyon, north of Devil's Gate Dam.  The main entrance Hahamongna Watershed Park is located off Oak Grove Dr. Google Maps directions to Hahamongna Watershed Park main entrance.
