The Rose Bowl Stadium hosts “Americafest 2013” continuing an 87-year tradition of safe & affordable family entertainment during the Fourth of July.
Celebrate our great nation’s birthday at the Rose Bowl—America’s Stadium—first outside at the Family Fun Zone, with tasty food, entertainment, exhibits and rides for the kids.
Then, inside the stadium, the Independence Day fun begins at 7 p.m. with opening ceremonies, Presentation of the Colors, National Anthem, motorcycle stunt show and special musical performance by Kenny G, the biggest-selling instrumental musician of the modern era.
A special video tribute to the military men and women from Greater San Gabriel Valley who lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan will be shown prior to the biggest and best fireworks show in Southern California at 9 p.m. by Pyrospectacular.
Americafest provides free admittance to all active duty military and their families as a way of saying “Thank You” for their service. Americafest is made possible with generous donations from individuals and organizations. Tickets and parking information is online at www.rosebowlstadium.com.
