State of the City Event Shines a Light on Performance

SOC_2012_Layout_wLOGO-1Live from Pasadena’s new A Noise Within theater, 3352 E. Foothill Blvd., the mayor’s 2012 State of the City event Thursday, Jan. 26, will cast a “Spotlight on Performance.” Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the program begins at 7 p.m. at this year’s free community event.

Complete with the Pasadena Police Department honor guard, a short video presentation and information tables showcasing city services, the annual program allows us to celebrate the city’s accomplishments and plans for the future. The mayor’s speech will detail developments with arts and culture, environmental issues, children and youths, economic development, public safety, transportation, the city budget and more.

Spanish interpretation will be provided and refreshments will be served. Walk one block to the theater from the Metro Gold Line Sierra Madre Villa station, where free parking will be available. Handicapped parking and drop-off will be available in front of the theater.
