Just three decades from now, we could be reusing and recycling every single material that passes through our homes and businesses, producing virtually no trash.
Find out how and offer your ideas at either of two community meetings sponsored by the Public Works Department Thursday, Feb. 2, in the Donald R. Wright Auditorium, at Pasadena Central Library, 285 E. Walnut St. The morning meeting, set from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., is scheduled for business owners while the evening meeting, from 6 to 8 p.m., is meant for residents. All Pasadenans are welcome at both meetings.
You’ll learn more about the city’s Zero Waste Strategic Plan, which will include programs and policies for cutting waste and increasing recycling through 2040.
To make it work for all residents and businesses, your input is vital! If you can’t make it to the workshop, provide your comments at firstname.lastname@example.org or 744-4721.
