Five interactive community workshops were held across Pasadena in June 2011 to explain the proposed General Plan Alternatives and answer questions about the survey. The workshops were held at:
The workshops provided additional information and explanations regarding the four proposed alternatives described in the General Plan Newsletter and survey, and responded to questions so that participants could make better-informed decisions on the survey.
The workshop included presentations on the four alternatives, the mobility element, and an analysis of the alternatives. Beforehand, participants walked around an open house with maps, illustrations, and photos describing each alternative. City staff and the General Plan Update Advisory Committee were available to explain the displays. After the presentations, there was a question and answer session.
