PASADENA FIRE DEPARTMENT ASSISTS WITH NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WILDFIRES
The Pasadena Fire Department is among the mutual aid partners in a multiagency strike team assisting with wildfires in Northern California caused by lightning.
Since June 12, firefighters and apparatus from Pasadena Fire Station #31 on South Fair Oaks Avenue, Fire Station #32 on East Villa Street, Fire Station #33 on North Lake Avenue, Fire Station #34 on East Del Mar Boulevard and Fire Station #37 on Foothill Boulevard have responded to locations ranging from Santa Barbara County to Humboldt County on the coast and from Kern County to Butte County inland.
Currently 14 Pasadena firefighters are deployed in Butte County. They have not experienced any injuries or damage to apparatus, tools or equipment. This team is expected to return to Pasadena after July 16.
