PASADENA, Calif.—Ahoy Matey! Rally all ye Buccaners to the Jolly Roger! The City of Pasadena Adaptive Recreation program and Ability First offers a very special, free play date from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Reese’s Retreat, Pasadena’s universally accessible playground next to the Rose Bowl Aquatic Center at Brookside Park, 360 North Arroyo Blvd.
Yo-ho-ho! This year’s play date theme ‘tis “A Pirate’s Life for Me!” Thar be a bounty of free activities including arts and crafts with the Armory Center, outdoor play activities, play and participation on the playground equipment, healthy snacks and an information table for all parents/guardians.
By the Powers! All families and children with and without disabilities are encouraged to attend! All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
