 SEPTEMBER EVENTS FOR THE PASADENA CONVENTION CENTER AND PASADENA CIVIC AUDITORIUM 

SEPT. 15 --1st ANNUAL A-CAT-A-ME AWARDS CAT SHOW 

The Opposites Attract Cat Club proudly presents a show featuring Sphynx (no hair) and Persian (lots of hair) championship and household cats.  Ribbons and awards will be given in accordance with Cat Fanciers’ Association show rules.
9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 

Adults $7, Seniors/Children/Vets $5, Family of 3+ (no coupons) $20, Children under 6 free

 SEPT. 22-23 --PACIFIC ASTRONOMY & TELESCOPE SHOW  

Be a part of the most exciting astronomy and telescope show on the West Coast.  Browse goods, including equipment, software and accessories, from dozens of manufacturers and dealers.  Company representatives – and in some cases owners – will be available to answer questions and help buyers find the telescopes that are right for them.  

Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sunday 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. 

One-day admission $20, two-day admission $35. If purchased after 3 p.m.: Adults $10; Students 17 & older with valid student ID $5, Children under 16 free.

 SEPT. 23 --BRIDE WORLD EXPO

 SEPT. 25 --CAMERATA PACIFICA 

Camerata Pacifica is a chamber music ensemble comprised of the finest performers of chamber music from around the world. The ensemble is distinctive for artistic excellence, an innovative approach to classical music and a repertoire that ranges from baroque to brand new, from familiar masterworks to works that have yet to become favorites. This performance features Tomasi’s “Cinq Danses Profanes et Sacrées, for Wind Quintet,” Berio’s “Opus Number Zoo, for Wind Quintet,” the world premiere of Ruo’s “In Other Words,” and Beethoven’s “Septet in E-flat Major, Op. 20.”
