8/1                         Night Shift 

PD-1(police helicopter) responded to the 300 block of W. Hammond Street in regards to a battery call that just occurred.  The air crew arrived first and located the suspect running from the location.  After ground units were directed to the suspect by the crew, he was taken into custody without incident.
