Please join the City of Pasadena Public Health Department in honoring this year's National Public Health Week, April 7-13, 2014. Learn about the changing world of public health and how health issues impact our community.
National Public Health Week (NPHW) brings together communities across
the nation to recognize the vital role that public health plays in each of our
lives, and to highlight important health issues that impact our communities.
This year’s theme of “Public Health: Start Here” echoes the commitment of
public health professionals in guiding people through the evolving public
health system, which has shifted from a focus on treatment of the sick to one
that is committed to disease prevention. There are many ways to celebrate with
us! See the flyer below for event details. For more information about National Public
Health Week in Pasadena, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
