I want to express thanks to so many constituents who came to the City Council to address concerns related to the 710 Freeway.
No doubt this is a very substantial issue that requires a thoughtful and measured response. There's no rush to judgment on the part of the staff and we're aware that we must address this issue thoroughly.
As an attorney in private practice for 30 years, it is my opinion that Measure A provides no impediment to our opposing these insane routes.
I feel your sense of urgency in this matter but believe we have adequate time to weigh in on the matter.
In the words of John Paul Jones, "We have not yet begun to fight."
Please come to the City Council Meeting on August 13, Pasadena Convention Center, Room 107 at 6:30PM when the City Council will take up the matter.
