The deadline for the Annual Grants Program Individual Artist category has been extended to be Tuesday, May 24th 5 pm. Some of those who apply may not have attended a mandatory workshop, which will be allowed. Individual Artist applicants must live, work or rent studio space in the city of Pasadena. The Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission and the Cultural Affairs Division announce the release of the 2016/2017 Annual Grants Program Application and Guidelines. The Annual Grants Program is designed to support the creative life of Pasadena through four grant categories. Beginning in February 2004, the City of Pasadena, led by the Cultural Affairs Division and Arts Commission, embarked on the Cultural Nexus (CNP). The CNP will be Pasadena's first comprehensive cultural plan and will be largely developed through a series of town hall meetings and special workshops.
